Our Programs

With curriculum we believe that young children best learn by guided exploration through play with some direct instruction. Therefore, our daily schedule reflects a balance of exploratory learning, small group work, and whole group learning opportunities. This encourages play based learning with a focus on social, emotional, and physical development.

Our programs/classrooms:

Infants: (6 weeks to 15 months): Our Infant classroom is set up to provide an environment where infants can explore and develop skills at their own pace. The teachers partner with you to learn your child’s individual care schedule and routine. Our infant curriculum is designed to promote growth and development across all learning domains; physical, intellectual, language and social/emotional. Our teachers provide responsive care and building strong relationships is at the center of everything they do.

Toddlers: (15 Months to 24 Months): Our Toddler classroom is designed to provide each child with a safe and nurturing environment that stimulates learning. Children are encouraged to explore each learning center with the other toddlers and along with their teachers. This develops the emergent skill of playing with others. Teachers chart the development of each child and talk with families on a regular basis to help them stay updated. Teachers also provide parents with daily communication regarding their child’s personal care routine.

Twos: (2-3 Years Old): Our Two’s classroom, teachers work closely with each family to know when the best time to start potty training. They are dedicated to making sure each child is fully potty trained before leaving their classroom. The curriculum is designed to introduce each learning center in a fun and exciting way. They also introduce colors, shapes, and letters in this class. It provides very strong vocabulary enriched learning so literacy skills are at the foundation of all that they do.

Early Preschool: (3-4 Year Old): Our Preschool classroom introduces several learning concepts such as literacy, math, science and critical thinking skills. Vocabulary development is very important at this stage too, as children will begin to learn the art of writing. The classrooms are organized into centers such as reading, science, math, and writing. Furthermore, children are exposed to a print-rich environment, which allows students to associate written language to oral language. Parents are fully aware of their child’s academic progress through quarterly assessment tools and parent- teacher conferences.

Preschool: (4-5 Year Olds): Our Pre-Kindergarten classroom builds on developed learning standards and introduces new learning concepts. The learning concepts of literacy, math, science and critical thinking skills are in line with the Illinois Standards so all the children are ready for kindergarten. This classroom focuses on each child’s individual skill level. This allows the teaching staff to enhance each child’s skill level to where they need to be for entry into kindergarten. Parents are updated on their child’s academic progress quarterly through our assessment tools and parent-teacher conferences.

School Age: (Kindergarten through 12 Years old): Our before and after school program provides care for kindergarten through 6th grade students, as well as transportation to local elementary schools. The teachers provide a variety of enrichment activities including experiments, projects, games, physical fitness, stories and arts & crafts. Our summer camps allow children going into first through 6th grades to explore a variety of interests with our curriculum that explores areas of curiosity and enhances their learning concepts in a fun way. Throughout the summer, the children have opportunities to take field trips that stimulate learning and enhance their camp experience.
